Mayo North East Leader Partnership Company are delighted to host an event on Thursday 18th of October, 11am to 1pm in The Great National Hotel Ballina (Main Function Room) as part of Mayo Social Inclusion Awareness Week 2018. “Social Inclusion through Art and Craft – Knitting our Community Together”. This free event is open to the public and will showcase the art and craft groups in North and West Mayo that bring people from varying backgrounds together throughout the year. Exhibitors on the day include women groups, Mens’ Sheds, traveller community, individuals with disability, youth, older people, and new communities.
Come along to this social event and enjoy free art and craft workshops. Ballina Costume Company will display the social inclusion ‘Mayo Famine Girls’ commerative quilt. Refreshments provided. Drop in any time.
